If you or your child is being considered for belt promotion in this session, please see Ms. Kim for the specific time of your test.

There will be food, demonstrations and a celebration of the JTC family.  Bring a friend!

Please contact Ms. Kim to sign up to attend.  There is a nominal fee of $10 per attendee.

This is the final day of black belt testing.  Prior to attending this test, you must have provided the following to Ms. Kim:

• Testing fee
• Your black belt essay
• Thank you letter to your parents
• Thank you letter to Grandmaster Suh

Please be prepared for:

• Your black belt form
• All previous forms
• All questions associated with the colored belt tests
• All standard one-step sparring defenses
• 5 of your own one-step sparring defenses.

Please come prepared for the endurance run.  This includes comfortable shoes and a water bottle.

By tradition, JTC is closed the day after colored belt testings.

Please bring all required equipment and stretch before the test begins.  You will be expected to know your form and the answers to all of the oral questions which appear on your belt hand-out.
